What is appropriate as a focus for this point in the year?

  • Start with a survey of staff, students, and parents

    • Use data to focus future work

    • What kinds of questions should we be asking?  What do we need to know?

      • Procedural type questions?

      • Open-ended questions?

  • Is there a survey already in existence?

    • Panorama platform?  Paid option that creates and distributes surveys.   Results are presented and collected twice a year..

How do we communicate to students about how to report safety concerns.  What works?

  • In class...

Action items

  • Create a calendar of scheduled safety events:

    • ID people who could be contacted to provide trainings - start that process.

  • Research Safety Surveys - ID resources, potential questions.

    • Student suggestions: Include options:  Multiple choice with option to expand.
