OCHS is proud to offer a range of courses that are designed to help students prepare for life after high school. The Curriculum Handbook provides information about course offerings, graduation requirements and academic policies at Oregon City High School.

This guide is intended to help you plan effectively for the next school year. Students will forecast in the Spring to choose next year's classes. Using information from counselors and this Curriculum Handbook, the students will complete a forecasting form, together with their parents, and submit it to the school.

The master schedule is created based on student requests, so please be thoughtful in your choices. Changes to your selections may not be possible after forecasting is complete. Depending on student requests and staff availability, some classes and programs may not be offered next year. This is why it’s important to have alternate classes chosen on your forecasting form. Student schedules will be available prior to the first day of school in the fall.

It is important that you and your parents carefully review this Curriculum Handbook and make informed decisions based on your long-range high school goals. If you have questions or need further explanation, please contact your School Counselor.

Twilight Thursday offers a welcoming space for families, students, caregivers, and community members to connect with a school counselor outside of regular school hours.

Topics often include:

  • Academic forecasting

  • Diploma options

  • Questions or concerns about specific classes

  • Post-secondary planning

  • And much more!

Whether you're looking for guidance or simply want to check in, we're here to support you.
