OCHS Student wins award at Regional art Show

The OCHS Fine Arts Department would like to recognize Kylee Turner for producing work that has won multiple awards, two years in row, at the Clackamas ESD Regional Art Show. Her work this year speaks to the societal issues of race and freedom, and she was asked to be the first ever student speaker at the ESD Awards Ceremony (see the video below. Her speech is at the 7 minute mark in the video), where her powerful words were met with a standing ovation. The "next stop" for Kylee's work is the Annual National Congressional Art Competition, where her impactful piece was whisked away to the very next day, following the regional awards ceremony.
