field trips for Marketing Scholars
1) CTE Business/Marketing 1, 2 & 3 Scholars Field trip to AIREFCO-Ferguson, Vancouver, WA. November 2024
In November, Marketing 1, 2 & 3 Scholars expanded learning beyond the classroom at a field trip to AIREFCO-Ferguson in Vancouver, WA. Marketing Scholars learned more about the HVAC industry, Channels of Distribution, and their Supply Chain. Students enjoyed a VIP tour and lecture by the management of AIREFCO-Ferguson and were treated to a catered lunch.
2) CTE Business/Marketing collaboration with Portland General Electric (PGE) and Career-Connected Learning, a South Metro-Salem STEM Partnership.

Through Penny Jahraus, Director of Career-Connected Learning, a South Metro-Salem STEM Partnership, Marketing Scholars had the opportunity to collaborate with the Portland General Electric (PGE) Team of Anne Hugh, Jane Almeida, and Heather Lancaster to present their business plans focused on clean energy and sustainability.
