PreAct Testing

OCHS is pleased to announce we are offering a PreACT testing opportunity for all 10th grade students attending our school who choose to participate. There is no fee involved! PreACT assessments provide you and your parents and/or guardians with information that can help you select the right high school courses, think about ways to target areas for improvement, and even begin discussions about college and career.
These assessments help to identify:
How a student is doing with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in college and beyond
Areas where extra help or additional courses are needed
Career possibilities on PreACT that match the student’s interests
Students may also choose to have PreACT information shared with colleges and scholarship agencies, which can help them get discovered for college recruitment and scholarship possibilities.
If interested in taking the PreACT please fill out this form by December 6, 2024.
The test will be offered the week of January 21-24, 2025.
Students will be assigned a testing date which will be communicated to them in early January.
