JROTC Competition at Rogers HS

Our JROTC program competed in the first of 4 northwest drill competitions at Rogers High School up near Tacoma this past weekend, and came away with a number of awards, competing against 8 other high schools:

  • The Unarmed Advanced Drill team, the Regulators, took first place again ...they are now undefeated in 2 years straight in our Division )1st place at every divisional comp), and have now been selected to march in the Army Drill Nationals again.

  • Hannah Abbott took top honors for best Unarmed Drill Team Commander

  • Broden Janway took 3rd place for Armed Team Commander

  • The OCHS JROTC Academic team took 2nd and 3rd place overall

  • Sadie Couch took 3rd place out of 24 competitors in the Armed Drill Down competition

  • Caleb Strampher took 2nd place for Colorguard Team 2 Commander

  • Broden Janway also took 2nd place for Precision Marksmanship

  • Both Marksmanship Teams, the Precision and Sporter class, took 3rd place in their respective classes.
