Need some veggies, herbs, or flowers for your garden? The Botany class is having their plant sale at the greenhouse on Monday May 19, Tuesday May 20, and Thursday May 22 from 3:15-4:15pm. Each plant is $1. The greenhouse is next to the tennis courts. See you there!
Attention Seniors: Cap decorations are allowed for graduation—but they must be approved first. To get your design approved, complete the Cap Decoration Approval Form found on the school website under Graduation info. Deadline is June 3rd at 3:30 PM.
AAPI Heritage Month:
Katherine Sui Fun Cheung was the first Chinese woman to be granted a pilot’s license in the United States. She began taking flying lessons at 28 years old. After just 12 hours of practice, she executed a perfect landing. It was the start of a groundbreaking aviation career. Cheung soon obtained her pilot’s license, joining the one percent of license holders who were female at the time. She was invited to join Amelia Earhart’s “Ninety- Nines,” a group of elite female aviators.
