Solar Eclipse seen by OCHS Students

Did you witness the eclipse today? Oregon was only partially in the path of the solar eclipse. According to NASA, the moon only blocked out a small part of about 25% of the sun in Portland.
In Ms. Cole's science class she said "I'm so happy we could see the partial eclipse through the clouds with our eclipse glasses! It's so cool to be able to witness astronomical events with students!"

The students response was "Whoa!!"

There's an excitement of experiencing the solar eclipse in person. The students enjoyed witnessing this event. Because of this experience, how many students will look into the field of Astronomy?
