JROTC Conference Championships

At OCHS

On March 16, our very own JROTC hosted the Conference Championships! The championship events were in fitness, military drill teams, color guard, air rifle and academic:

  • Our Unarmed Team placed 3rd, the drill commander (Evan Roberts) got a fantastic 1st place! 

  • Color guard team 1 placed 2nd, and their team commander (Hayley Bertram) also placed 2nd in the Team Commander Competition!

  • Color guard team 2 Placed 1st and their team commander (Caleb Strampher) placed 4th

25 different schools from Washington and Oregon ended up competing on that day and Oregon City ended up with the 2nd Place Overall Trophy!

Thank you to all the Oregon City HS JROTC Cadets and Parents that volunteered to help make this a successful Championship.
