JROTC Competition December 2022

On 10 December, 2022 OCHS JROTC hosted a very successful Home Drill Competition, thanks to the efforts of the Cadets, Parent Volunteers, Judges from the Army, Navy and Marines.  

The total fundraising  was just under $1600 through the raffle baskets and concession sales.  Thank you to all of you who donated items for the baskets and volunteered at the concessions booth and raffle tables.  This will help fund our travel costs to our future competitions. 

Those who compete on our teams have three more division competitions (21 January, Battleground, WA: 4 February, Shelton, WA: 25 February, Bethel, WA) and then if they qualify, our Conference Championships (25 March, Marysville, WA)

  • Unarmed Drill Team - 1st

  • Marksmanship Team - 3rd

  • Color Guard - 3rd

  • Nolan Fielder - 1st, Unarmed Drill Down

  • Evan Roberts - 2nd, Unarmed Drill Down

  • Evan Roberts and Haylee Bertrand - 3rd, Armed Dual Exhibition

  • Aiden Spencer - 3rd, Sporter Class Marksmanship

  • Riley McAllister - 1st, Unarmed Team Commander

  • Olivia Shanley - 1st, Fitness Iron Women

  • Melody Harbison - 3rd, Color Guard Team Commander
