Multilingual students will have the opportunity to take the STAMP test on March 20th. The STAMP test is a way for students to demonstrate their proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking in multiple languages. Students who demonstrate proficiency in all four domains in two languages and complete graduation requirements qualify for the Seal of Biliteracy on their high school diploma. Students who demonstrate proficiency in three or more languages can qualify for the Seal of Multiliteracy. For additional information, please see the Seal of Biliteracy page on our school website. Girls, if you had PE Winter tri and have not picked up your clothes please do so by Friday or they will be recycled.

During the month of March, we will celebrate Women’s History Month. Geraldyn "Jerrie" Cobb was the first woman to pass astronaut testing in 1961. But she wasn't allowed to travel to space due to her gender. About 20 years later, Sally Ride was the first woman in space. On June 18, 1983, she flew on the space shuttle Challenger.
