Jon Benjamin, President of Oregon City Soccer Club (OCSC), along with OCSC Board members, soccer players and donation recipients, met on November 15, 2025 to present a $1,000 donation to four local organizations.
OCSD Driver Education, Building Blocks 4 Kids, OC Backpack Buddies, and SoulFlags Art were the recipients this year.
LAND O FROST, Community Relations Program, is a national company that supports 501 C-3 organizations in the Oregon City community. Of the $1,000 donation, $500 was donated from LAND O FROST and $500 was donated from OCSC.
Suz Figini, OCSD's DE Coordinator, commented:
“LAND O FROST and the Oregon City Soccer Club shows compassion to families beyond the soccer fields. Their donation of $1,000 to the Oregon City Driver Education program will provide scholarships to students to help with the tuition cost beginning Spring 2026.
We are deeply grateful for their support!”

As part of the process moving into the second progress period of the first semester, we will be reviewing student attendance to ensure all students with off-campus lunch privileges are meeting the requirements outlined in the permission agreement [link here].

As a reminder, students must maintain at least 90% attendance and have no more than three lunch-related tardies per progress period. Any student who does not meet these expectations will lose their off-campus lunch privilege for the remainder of the semester, when eligibility can be re-evaluated.

**Students should be prepared to eat lunch on campus if their privileges are revoked.

New Sticker Color for Off-Campus Lunch:

We also update the sticker color used to identify students with valid off-campus lunch privileges. All students who qualify will need to receive the new sticker on their student ID. Students can have their attendance checked and receive the new sticker at Student Services during the following times:

Before school
After school
During lunches

**Please remind students to stop by one of these times to ensure they remain in compliance.
