Mascot

The official mascot for Oregon City High School is Pioneer Pete, shown to the left. Oregon City was one of the first settlements in the Northwest Territory. Through the efforts of these pioneers, Oregon City was named the first capital of the State of Oregon in 1859. It is only fitting that our school should adopt the pioneer as its school mascot.

Coat of Arms

Adapted in 1967 on the crest, is a pioneer, Oregon grape and the state flower. Other symbols around the city are also sketched into the coat of arms.
