We are thrilled to announce that Oregon City High School is making its mark at the Clackamas ESD Regional Art Show. Often referred to as the "Super Bowl of student art," this event is the largest of its kind in Oregon, and this year is particularly special as it marks the show's 10th anniversary.

The 2026 gallery is bursting at the seams with 230–250 masterpieces (depending on the day!) representing every school district in the county. At a time when student artists have fewer venues to display their work, this show provides a high-profile "moment in the frame" for these talented creators.

Meet Our Artists
We are incredibly proud of the three fine-arts students representing OCHS this year:
1. Lydia Strawser
2. Olivia Shanley
3. Ivan Chebykin

Visit the Gallery
Want to see the "Super Bowl" in person? The gallery is open to the public and free to attend.
Dates: March 30 – April 28, 2026
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location: Clackamas ESD Administrative Building (13455 SE 97th Ave, Clackamas)

Save the Date: The official Awards Ceremony will take place on April 28 at 6:00 p.m., where winners will be announced across five media categories, including scholarships and the chance to exhibit at the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts this summer.

Congratulations to the OCHS Student Council for earning the National Gold Council Award of Excellence for 9 years in a row!

For its exemplary record of leadership, service, and activities that improve the school and community, the Oregon City High School student council has been recognized as a 2025 National Gold Council of Excellence by the National Association of Student Councils (NASC). The NASC program is supported by its parent organization, the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).

Leadership in Action
Principal Timmons praised the group’s commitment to building a cohesive school culture.

“The OCHS Student Council has done an exceptional job of growing student involvement throughout schoolwide events. I am especially proud of the work they have done in building a more inclusive environment with active participation and membership in the Student Council with students receiving support services.”

Student Council Advisor Tiffani Travers also highlighted the resilience of this year's student leaders. "When faced with some difficult changes, they chose to step up rather than give up," Travers noted. "They didn't let limited class time slow them down; instead, they stayed focused and made every minute count."

This national recognition reflects the strong leadership within OCHS and the dedication of students to making a tangible difference in their community.
