Plus OCHS Student Council has RESPECT WEEK which includes spirit days.

🥎It was a beautiful, sunny day to celebrate something special for our students and community! ☀️
Yesterday we officially opened our newly turfed softball field at Oregon City High School with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Members from our softball team and local softball community joined us for this celebration, as well as school board members, bond team members, and Community Bond Oversight Committee members!
OCHS Softball players then held their first practice on the new turf surface.
This project is one of several in the fields and grounds updates being worked on in phase 1 of our 2025 capital bond projects. Other projects in this phase include new turf installations at the OCHS varsity baseball field and the multipurpose field directly behind OCHS.
The new turf creates a safer, more durable playing surface that will allow for more consistent practices, games, and outdoor learning opportunities throughout the year—rain or shine.
We’re grateful for the support of our community and look forward to more celebrations as the rest of our projects are completed. These are your bond dollars at work!

Be sure and come to Academic Planning Night. Forecasting for 2026-27 classes will start on Thursday, February 12!

One thing you love about OCHS or Oregon City?
The people. This community is truly special. I've never worked anywhere with such a strong sense of pride and history. Our students are incredibly talented; and my colleagues continue to inspire me with their deep commitment to the students they serve. Also-Ranch Pizza makes it worth taking the 217 to the 5 to the 205 to the 213.
A Memorable Highlight:
Grad Walk 2025, I absolutely loved seeing the entire community come together to celebrate the graduates. It was particularly heartwarming to see elementary teachers recognize their students and give high fives and hugs.
Favorite past time activity when not at school:
Being in nature-camping, hiking, biking, swimming, snorkeling, Stand up Paddleboarding, outdoor concerts

Every day counts. Showing up helps build confidence, connection, and opportunity.
We know some days are harder than others. When students are able to be here, we’re glad to see them—and we’re here to support them along the way.
Show up. Level up. We’re here for it. We're here for you.
